AAT Students can now book to sit selected AAT assessments remotely.
Instead of students having to attend an approved assessment centre, they can now takeselected aat assessments units at home on most days (including weekends) and at a time of their choosing. For remote AAT assessment booking students will be recorded for the duration of their assessment, and all recordings will be reviewed.
AAT remote assessments (exams) are accessible from anywhere in the world. However, please note that they are scheduled according to UK time and must be completed within the 24-hour period of the designated UK date.

How to Book your Remote AAT Assessment

Please read through this, to ensure you are happy with how the AAT remote assessments are to be held and have the minimum supporting specifications. All Remote AAT Assessment Bookings must be booked and scheduled seven days in advance.

Premier Training Students – Remote AAT Assessment Booking
As your training provider, we will also only take your booking if you have completed all of our Premier Training assignments and mock exams for the relevant unit (found on your MyPTA account).
When you are ready to book your aat remote assessments, please use the booking form on this page and will start processing your details and selected assessment.
External and Self Study Students – Remote AAT Assessment Booking
Please check with your Training Provider or the AAT if you are eligible to sit the aat remote assessments before booking with us.
As per the AAT’s remote invigilation user guide, please note these essential requirements below:
- Webcam with a microphone required
- Whilst a 17” monitor is recommended, laptops typically have a 14” screen. You can still sit your assessment with this, though you may be required to zoom out to see navigational buttons.
- Must be a Windows or Macintosh operating system
- If in a dual screen setup one screen must be unplugged or disabled
- Stable internet connection (preferably wired)
- You will not be permitted to use a physical calculator or notepaper during your assessment; instead you will have a calculator on screen and note-taking space will be provided in which to type.
- The Google Chrome web browser is required to launch the assessment. Click here to download
All remote AAT assessment booking must be booked and scheduled seven days in advance.
If you wish to cancel the Remote AAT Assessment Booking we require 48 hours notice, if you fail to notify us of a cancellation the invigilation fee is non-refundable.

Please only download the PSI browser required for the assessment from the email sent to you from the AAT. Other versions of the PSI browser are incompatible for AAT remote assessments.
