With thousands of pupils across the country unable to take GCSE and A-Level exams this year, what more can school and college students do to enhance their CVs?

Premier Training has created an opportunity for them to increase their skill-set, find out more about accountancy and remain busy this summer.

Students can enrol onto the popular AAT Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping FREE when they sign up for Premier Training’s Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping.

Student offer May 2. GCSE

The Level 1 qualification is a fantastic first step into distance learning and provides an understanding of the basics of manual bookkeeping. No prior knowledge is required and the course can be completed in less than six weeks.

The Level 2 course helps to develop an understanding of basic accounting practices and techniques including double-entry bookkeeping. This course is usually completed in 2-3 months depending on the study time available.

Students completing these internationally recognised qualifications may wish to pursue careers in accountancy, finance or business. They can enrol for a total course fee of £299 – saving £199 on the Level 1 course.

Rose Crockett, Premier Training’s Operations Director, said: “GCSE and A-Level students face a summer of uncertainty. We want to offer an opportunity for them to stay busy and add two recognised qualifications to their CVs.

“Hopefully, this will also help attract more young people into the accountancy and finance professions that we love so much.”

* AAT Membership fees (£48) and assessment fees are not included.
