A common misconception is that AAT distance learning students need to live or work near their training provider.
That’s not the case. At Premier Training, our headquarters are based in Lincolnshire and we have AAT students across the UK – and, for that matter, around the world.
The beauty of distance learning (and the reason it is increasingly popular) is that students can select their perfect training provider based on support, learning resources and price, not location.
With Premier Training, unlimited tutor support is available over the phone, by message or email until 8pm most evenings.
And the combination of online and offline learning materials, with no live lessons, means students can study when it suits them, not their tutor.
What about assessments?
AAT students are able to sit their exams at any AAT assessment centre near to them regardless of their training provider.
There are hundreds of centres across the UK, as you can see by using the AAT’s assessment search page at: https://www.aat.org.uk/assessment-venues/search
Students can also sit a selection of Foundation, Advanced and Professional level assessments on the AQ2016 standards using remote invigilation.
Here, assessments are supervised over the internet, so instead of having to go to an approved assessment centre, students can take their assessments at home or at another secure location of their choice.
