The AAT have today confirmed that assessments will be available again from Monday, June 29th.
Assessments have been unavailable since March 22nd due to the Covid-19 lockdown, but are set to return in little more than four weeks’ time.
An AAT statement read: “Since assessments were suspended on 22 March, as well as seeking additional solutions to support students and training providers, we have been closely monitoring the wider picture around Covid-19, including UK Government guidance and feedback from our training providers within the UK and across the globe.
“As Government guidance shifts its focus from lockdown to re-starting economies, we’re keen to provide training providers and assessment venues with opportunities for students to sit assessments and progress with their studies, where it is deemed safe and appropriate to do so within local social distancing guidelines.
“Therefore, based on current information and guidance, we intend to make assessments available from 29 June.”
Synoptic window dates have also been confirmed for the remainder of this year, while plans to launch remote invigilation on a phased basis continue – with August the target for the first phase of these exams.
