More than 3,000 students have downloaded Premier Training’s ground-breaking App since its launch.
An innovation in distance learning, Premier Pal reinvents the methods in which students study AAT accountancy and bookkeeping courses effectively and efficiently.
Developed entirely in house by Premier Training, it is available to download for all Apple and Android devices via their respective app stores.
Premier Pal is like having a personal tutor, a library and a classroom in your pocket. It enables students to access learning resources and support at any time and in any location.
Everything they require to study is at their fingertips, including:
- Direct contact to a course advisor to help guide students through their course, assisting with booking exams and changing their timetable.
- Access to eBooks, online assignments marked by a real tutor, live lectures, e-learning videos and tests, revision tools, help guides and extra AAT e-learning tests. Updates, news and tutor blogs are also available.
- Personalised timetable created to suit students’ lifestyles set at an achievable but encouraging pace. It also includes important information such as their AAT registration and student ID numbers.
- Educational games, providing a break from studying whilst being a useful learning tool.
Artificial Intelligence also allows Premier Pal to grow – the more questions that are asked and answered correctly the more intelligent it becomes. It also allows Premier Training to identify if additional help sheets and video are required within their learning programmes.
App ‘pushes boundaries of innovation’
Rose Crockett, Premier Training’s operations director, said: “From our humble beginnings in 1998 with paper-based AAT distance learning to working with major platforms such as Google Play and the Apple App Store now, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation in education and learning.
“We are a student led organisation and we listen. We believe from student feedback we have created a truly unique product and service.
“Furthermore, Premier Pal is only in its infancy. Its ‘knowledge’ of accounting will grow and grow the more students use it, meaning the quality of its responses will continue to improve over time.
