Results come back quickly, often within hours, and the feedback really helps to understand how you might have gone wrong on a question and what you can do to improve marks.
The course material is fantastic and the videos underpin what you learn from reading the books. For me personally, I learn better from watching the videos and completing the test papers.
The tutor live lessons that are embedded into MyPTA are excellent, they help everything to click into place.
I couldn’t do the AAT course if it wasn’t for distance learning, it is flexible so I can fit it around my day job and family.
You need to be disciplined though because weeks tick by quickly, so I block out four-hour blocks in my calendar and try to stick to it, which has worked for me so far.
Since starting the course, I’ve grown in confidence, I feel like I can do my job better as I already work in Accounts.
