AAT qualifications have allowed Jack Bennett to make a career change and be shortlisted for a prestigious finance awards.
Jack took little more than a year to complete the AAT Foundation Certificate and Advanced Diploma in Accounting via distance learning with Premier Training.
Those qualifications enabled him to make the switch from his former career in the hospitality industry to his current role as a financial apprentice with a housing association.
Jack’s impressive progress through AAT Levels 2 and 3 has also been recognised by the Finance Awards Wales, which showcase talented finance professionals and take place at City Hall, Cardiff on Friday 24 June.
Jack is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Accounts Technician of the Year category, which is sponsored by the AAT.
He said: “I’m so pleased – I’m really looking forward to the Finance Awards Wales event. I would like to thank everyone at Premier Training for the fantastic support I received during my AAT Level 2 and 3 studies.
“I can’t understate the impact doing these qualifications with Premier Training has had on my career prospects and work-life balance. They have set me on my way to hopefully becoming a fully qualified accountant in the future.”
Perfect for a career change
As with many students contemplating a career change, Jack found AAT distance learning the perfect option, providing the flexibility and support he needed.
“I would highly recommend Premier Training if you are looking to undertake AAT qualifications to either change career or develop an existing one,” he added.
“I have to say that the resources provided by Premier are of the highest standard. As long as you put in the time and effort and use the available resources, online and offline, you will find yourself in a very strong position to pass all of your exams.
“The timetable provided, although flexible, helps with managing your studies and getting the most out of your course. The assignments provide a great measure of where you are in your studies and what you need to work on.
“My tutor Mark was always quick to respond to my queries when I had them and always explained things in an easy-to-understand way.”
Good luck to Jack at the Finance Awards Wales on June 24 from all the team at Premier Training!
