Average AAT student salaries rise 10 percent in two years, according to this year’s AAT Salary Survey.
The bi-annual research found that average pay for all AAT members has risen, with MAAT (full members) and FMAAT (fellow members) salaries up 9%.
Affiliates – who have completed the AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting but are yet to become AAT professional members – also saw a 4% increase across the two-year period.
Average AAT student salaries rise:
FMAAT
2021: £40,000 / 2019: £37,200
MAAT
2021: £30,000 / 2019: £28,000
Affiliate
2021: £24,500 / 2019: £23,500
Student
2021: £22,000 / 2019: £20,000
Overall, 80% of members who have completed an AAT Accounting qualification agree it has increased their earning potential.
The AAT Salary Survey is produced every two years to report on AAT members’ salaries and benefits, as well as their job satisfaction, job security and work-life balance.
The 2021 survey has been adapted to take into consideration the impact coronavirus (Covid-19) has had on AAT members.
